Bioscapes Pilot Workshop
The Department of Industry and Investment is running a pilot workshop looking at Biodiversity in Grazing Landscapes on 29th April 2010. This is a 1 day pilot workshop where attendees can help evaluate the usefulness and content of the workshop. This is a great opportunity for property owners to have input into the Bioscapes program before it is finalised. Healthy Soils Field Day

Chemical Users Certificate required to purchase and use '1080'

Recent changes to legislation have made 1080 a restricted chemical. 1080 baits can now ONLY be issued to and used by people who have completed their chemical accreditation training within the last 5 years. Landholders now have to show their current accreditation cards when picking up 1080 baits.NSW Farmers Federation are hosting a Chemical Accreditation Training course in Walcha on Monday the 16th of March.
