Southern New England Landcare formed in 1991 in response to the community's desire to coordinate Landcare activities among the four groups that existed in our region at that time.Since then, our organisation has grown to link more than 25 landcare groups, four local government organisations and numerous schools and individual community members across our region.

Vision and Mission

Our vision is for a vibrant, socially and economically healthy community, existing in a healthy, productive and biodiverse environment.Our mission is to foster community participation in natural resource management (NRM).

How we achieve this

To achieve this, we have developed a strategic plan , we employ several staff members, and facilitate access to a range of projects and grants that assist community members to better understand their natural resources and implement best management practices that lead us to a more sustainable future.

Donations

Southern New England Landcare is now a vibrant not-for-profit community-led organisation operating purely on grants and the good will of our community members. Tax deductible donations are gratefully accepted. Please contact our office for further information.
