Dave Carr comes to SNELCC after 15 years working with Greening Australia. He worked with Greening Australia in Armidale from 1994 to 2000 on vegetation management, farm forestry extension and farm planning projects before moving to the national office in Canberra. As Technical Capacity Manager for Greening Australia, Dave ran the national extension projects ‘Exchange’ and ‘Florabank’ as well as leading farm forestry research across the country. Dave worked on developing a carbon sequestration business for GA and lead the development of landscape-scale restoration projects.

| Nic Cobcroft HiCUB Projects Manager 
Nic started collecting seeds and planting trees on the New England tablelands in the early 1980s and moved on to manage the Armidale Tree Group nursery and contract tree planting service, and also his own native seed collecting business based in Uralla. Nic worked for a number of years as a consulting field botanist for NSW NPWS and Greening Australia as a seed collector and project officer. He then pursued a career as a wooden boat builder but was lured back to natural resource management by WetlandCare Australia where he was employed implementing biodiversity, threatened species and wetland projects across a broad area of Northern NSW and also in the Burdekin delta in North Queensland.
